An HVAC homepage has one bad week a year
Riverbend Heating & Air is a concept, not a client. The build was aimed at one specific problem.
Heating and cooling demand is not steady. It arrives in a heat wave, or the first hard freeze, and for that week every homeowner in Daviess County is calling somebody. The site does not need to be clever the rest of the year. It needs to survive that week.
So the homepage is built for a person who is hot, annoyed and comparing three companies on a phone: what you fix, how fast you come, and the number, all before anything has to load below the fold.

River teal and ember. Cooling and heating in one palette, and neither of them the cyan-and-red every HVAC site in the state already uses.
Web design Owensboro KY, decision by decision
Four choices, each one made against that week rather than against a mood board.
How this homepage is built to be found
Seasonal demand means the ranking has to already be there when the weather turns. You cannot start in July.
The two services people actually search in a heat wave lead the title, and the response time is in the description because that is what gets clicked.
Underneath it
A page per service
AC repair, furnace repair and replacement are three different searches with three different levels of urgency.
A page per town
Whitesville, Philpot, Utica. Each one is a search somebody in that town actually makes.
Typed schema
Marked up as a local business with hours and a service area, not just text on a page.
A Google Business Profile pointed at it
The map pack is where most of these searches end, and that is a local SEO job rather than a design one.
