Sloans Websites ("we," "us," "our") builds websites and provides marketing services for local and home-service businesses. This policy explains what we collect through sloanswebsites.com, build.sloanswebsites.com, and contractorwebsitebuilder.com (the "Sites"), why, and your choices.

Information we collect

• Information you give us. Your name, email, phone number, business name, location, services, and other details you enter to generate a website mockup or contact us.
• Business lookup data. When you use the Google Business Profile lookup, we retrieve publicly listed business details (name, address, category, reviews) to pre-fill your mockup.
• Usage & device data. Pages viewed, actions taken, approximate location, browser/device info, and cookie identifiers, collected via analytics and advertising tools.

How we use it

• To generate, send, and improve your website mockup.
• To follow up about your project and respond to inquiries.
• To operate, secure, and improve the Sites.
• To measure and run advertising, and to show relevant ads (including retargeting).

Cookies, analytics & advertising

We use cookies and similar technologies, including the Meta (Facebook) Pixel, Google Analytics, and Gizmo Analytics, to understand traffic and measure and target advertising. You can control cookies in your browser, opt out of interest-based ads at optout.aboutads.info, and manage Google Analytics via the opt-out add-on.

How we share it

We do not sell your personal information. We share it only with service providers who help us run the business — for example hosting (Vercel), email delivery (Resend), data storage (Upstash, and Vercel Blob for any photos you upload), and analytics/advertising (Google, Meta, Gizmo Analytics) — and when required by law. These providers may process data under their own terms.

Phone calls and text messages

If you give us your phone number and agree to be contacted, we may call and text you about your inquiry and about our website and SEO services. We contact you directly. We do not sell or rent your phone number, and we do not share it with other advertisers.

You can opt out at any time by replying STOP to any text message, telling us on a call, or emailing sloanswebsites@gmail.com. We keep a record of what you agreed to and when, including the date, your IP address, and the exact wording shown to you at the time.

Photos you upload

If you send us photos through our project intake form, they are stored with Vercel Blob so we can use them to build your site. Those files are held at unlisted web addresses that are not linked from anywhere and are not indexed by search engines, but they are not password protected. Email us if you'd like yours removed.

Data retention

We keep your information as long as needed to provide our services and follow up, then delete or anonymize it. Generated mockups expire automatically from our cache.

Your choices

You may request access to, correction of, or deletion of your personal information, and you can unsubscribe from marketing emails at any time. Email us and we'll take care of it.

Children

The Sites are intended for business owners and are not directed to anyone under 18.
